London Wedding Pianist – Bryan Edery

Hi, I am Bryan Edery, an experienced wedding pianist, based in London and available across the Home Counties. I offer beautiful piano music for your wedding ceremony, drinks reception or wedding breakfast.

I have a huge repertoire of pop songs and jazz standards.

If you do not have a piano at your venue I can bring my portable stage piano or his electric baby grand piano.

I have played at dozens of wedding venues in London including: OXO2, Waldorf Hilton, Hackney Town Hall, The Crypt, Fulham Palace, The Ivy and Hampton Court House. I am also a recommended wedding pianist at Pembroke Lodge in Richmond.

A piano player for your wedding ceremony

Here is my approach to wedding ceremony piano playing - please get in touch with any questions.

Guest arrival pre-ceremony

If you book me for your wedding ceremony, I'll be ready to play background music when guests arrive into your wedding ceremony room before your wedding ceremony is due to start. I will select beautiful music from my repertoire, often featuring contemporary-classical pieces and delicate pop instrumental background music.

The ceremony itself

If your wedding ceremony is a civil ceremony, the standard format for the music is:

  • Entrance (one piece of music)
  • Signing of Register (two-three pieces of music)
  • Exit (one piece of music)

Since a wedding ceremony is very personal and unique to you, I am happy to play any pieces of music you would like – anything from pop, jazz standards or contemporary classical. These pieces of music may already be in my extensive repertoire, but if not, I will learn them for you – at no additional charge.

If your ceremony is in a church, I am happy to play any hymns you might like for the guests to sing along with. This is in addition to the entrance, signing of register and exit pieces of music.

A pianist for your wedding reception

For drinks receptions and wedding breakfasts, I will always be looking to play the songs that best suit the atmosphere from his repertoire – a bit like a DJ! I am also happy for wedding couples to create a playlist.

Drinks reception

Drinks receptions are often a great time to introduce some upbeat, classy jazz standards. Many couples like to try and make the most of the fine wedding-season weather and hold their wedding drinks reception outside.

Wedding breakfast

Wedding breakfasts are an opportunity to have live background music while you and your guests are dining. I am always looking to play the songs that best support the vibe going on around me. As the dining courses progress, it is not unusual for the music to ramp up - quite often with guests joining in and singing along! I offer package rates for playing at your wedding breakfast as well as your wedding ceremony / drinks.
