25 Jan New pianist & production services for 2021

2020 was a challenging year, to say the least! But I got the opportunity to work on new projects, with some amazing new people, which I am extremely grateful for.

As a result, I am delivering more pianist and production services in 2021. And of course I can’t wait for the “live performance” areas to start getting to get back to normal from Spring/Summer, which I have no doubt they will.

Production

I was lucky to be asked to get involved in producing a single called “Strong”, supporting two charities in 2020. Incredibly the single reached No.17 in the UK iTunes Pop Chart and had significant coverage on TV, radio and the press. Find out more about my work on this project.

Session Pianist

Through recording piano on the single “Strong” above, I got introduced to new talent such as Joe Taylor and I ended up recording piano on his single “Go Home”. I’m continuing to work with Joe and others – with many of 2021 session bookings being remote. Find out more about my session pianist work.

Virtual Events

I have been delivering virtual pianist packages for birthday parties, corporate leaving parties and Christmas parties since lockdown 2020. I am running more private virtual events this year from Valentine’s weekend onwards. Please check out my virtual pianist package and get in touch for a quote.

Singer / Pianist Duo

Following her lead vocals on the “Strong” single, singer Amy Boujenah joined me for a virtual Christmas concert to support SeeAbility. We raised over £2,000 on the night with the concert live-cast around the world. Amy and I are now taking “duo” bookings for events from Spring 2021.

Hospitality – Hotel & Restaurants

In early 2020 I started arranging contracts with various prominent hotel groups to supply pianists on a year-round basis. Although the Covid pandemic has paused these, I am hopeful that activity will resume by mid 2021. Find out more about my work in hotels and restaurants.

Parties & Events

I cannot wait for parties and events to start again. I’m also looking forward to making more events happen for some of my corporate clients including Marks & Spencer, IBM, Country Living, Waitrose, Pinewood Studios. Find out more about my piano playing for parties and events.

Wedding Pianist

Piano playing at weddings has formed the bulk of my weekend work for the last 5 years. I cover London and the Home Counties. Many 2020 weddings have been rearranged to late Spring 2021 onwards. Find out more about about my my wedding pianist work and read testimonials from my wedding clients.

And finally

And finally, a little thank you to a big friend, songwriter Perrie Young – without whom 2020 would having been very boring indeed. Thanks to Perrie’s big ideas I’ve been able to develop some of my recent pianist / producer services. Looking forward to working further with Perrie in 2021 – and with incredible lyricist Daniella Joseph.
